How to Access Texas State RemoteApps from a Mobile Device

​On an Android Device (Phone or Chromebook)

 

  1. Download and install Omnissa Horizon application from the Google Apps Store.
    Google play store of VmWare
  2. Open the Omnissa app, and click +.

  3. Enter the server name as remote.txstate.edu.

  4. Add a server description as anything you want to identify this resource.

  5. Log in with your NetID (netid@txstate.edu). Click Sign In

​​On an iOS Device (iPhone or iPad)

 

  1. Download and install the "Windows App" from the Apple store.
  2. Open the Windows App, and tap +. 
  3. Tap Work or School Account.
  4. Login with your NetID (NetID@txstate.edu).
  5. Allow "TXST Applications" to populate and click on the application you wish to launch.
