Single Sign-On Attributes

Attributes are key pieces of information about a user, such as name, email, or NetID, that are passed from Texas State to the vendor's system during SSO login. They help the service know who the person is and what access they should have. 

If you are unsure which SSO attributes are needed, reach out to the vendor and ask which user attributes they expect us to send during SSO setup, and then refer to the table of attributes below for more information.

Upon approval from the Information Security Office, the below attributes can be passed to the service provider.
