CrashPlan for Mac

Get Started

  • A faculty or staff NetID and password are required.
  • You must be logged in as an administrator on the computer to install the software.

NOTE: CrashPlan is to be installed on Texas State-owned computers only.

NOTE: You must set up CrashPlan before you can use the software.

If you have questions about these prerequisites, please contact ITAC before proceeding.

Installation Instructions

  1. Open Jamf.
  2. Locate and install the software.

NOTE: If you are using macOS Mojave (10.14), you must configure CrashPlan before using the program.
