How to Find the Mac Host Name

Follow these steps for find the host name on a Mac computer:

1. Click Spotlight Search. 
2. Enter this search term: terminal
3. Click to open Terminal.
4. Type hostname and click Enter on the keyboard.
5. The Mac host name will appear on the screen.
