Editing Attendance Meetings

The Edit Feature allows the instructor to change date and times, cancel, reactivate, and delete individual attendance meetings.

Edit Meeting

When an attendance meeting has been created, a pencil icon will be displayed to the right of the meeting date and time.

  • Select the pencil icon to enter the edit screen for the attendance meeting.

Delete Meeting

A deleted meetings are completely removed from the Attendance tool. There is no way to recover them. 

  • In the edit screen, select Delete Meeting.

Change Meeting Date and Time

  • In the edit screen of the meeting, Select the appropriate Start date/time field to change the meeting date or time.
  • Select Save Meeting once you have completed your edits.

Cancel Meeting

Cancelling a meeting does not affect attendance totals. When a meeting is cancelled, you are retaining a record mainly for record-keeping purposes.

  • In the edit screen of the meeting, select Cancel Meeting.
    • NOTE: The meeting will appear with cancelled as the status for all students. You will not be able to take attendance for cancelled meetings.

Re-activate Meeting

Re-activating a meeting allows you to reinstate a cancelled meeting. 

  • On the canceled meeting, select the pencil icon to enter the edit screen.  
  • Select Restore. The meeting will appear in the Attendance tool, and you will now be allowed to take attendance for site participants. 
    • NOTE: You cannot mark all student’s attendance status from this screen. You can only do this when creating a new meeting.
