How to Determine the Model & Year of your Apple Computer

Go to the Apple Warranty Check in a web browser.
Type in the serial number for your Apple computer and the Security Code, then click Continue.

NOTE: If you need help finding your serial number, click on the How to find your serial number link and follow the directions on the next screen.
Once you click Continue, the next screen will show you what kind of Apple computer is associated with that serial number, what model and year it is, and if it is still under warranty.
