How to Purchase an Apple Computer with Department Funds (Part 1 of 4)

Before You Begin 

  • Start with an empty or a new cart. If your current TSUS Marketplace shopping cart contains any non-Apple products (or any other computer accessories) then delete or create a new cart.
  • We also recommend creating a new cart when ordering multiple Apple models (e.g., create a cart for Apple laptops and another cart for Apple desktops).
    CAUTION: Not doing so may result in your order being delayed or cancelled. 

 

Follow these steps to shop the Apple Store and create an order:

  1. Go to the SAP Portal
  2. Enter your NetID and Password, and click Login.
  3. Click the TSUS Marketplace tab.

  4. Under Technology, click Apple.

  5. Browse and select the Apple computer of your choice

    TIP: Texas State University standard desktop or laptops meet most needs and are easy to order. However, if you need to customize the Mac, click the Mac tab at the top, make a selection and choose your customization options.

    NOTE: If the Texas State standard Apple computer configurations do not meet your requirements, you can request a custom computer.

    Your request will be reviewed by ITAC staff to ensure that the requested computer will meet your needs.
     
  6. After all choices are made, click Add to Cart.

  7. Click Send Proposal.

  8. Enter comments if needed, and click Submit.

  9. Click Continue.

    You will be directed to the TSUS Marketplace Shopping Cart.
