How to Add an External App in Canvas

1. Open Canvas Course
2. Select Settings in the course navigation menu on the left
3. Select Navigation Tab
4. From the bottom of the page, drag the LTI you wish to add up into the correct position in the course navigation list.
5. Select Save
6. You'll see your LTI Mastering in the course navigation.

Add to Assignment

1. Add Assignments, then click + Assignment button
2. Give a Descriptive name and set points
3. Set Assignment Group and Display Grade as you wish
4. Select a Submission Type, External Tool URL, then finally select your LTI you wish to add
5. Load this Tool in a New Tab Checkbox, then click Save and Publish so that the assignment will be available to students.

Add to a Page

1. Create a Canvas page, typically in a module.
2. Insert the cursor where you want to embed
3. Choose More External Tools, then finally your LTI
