How to Access Texas State RemoteApps from a Mac Computer

RemoteApps
.
Select
Click Here to Download VMware Horizon Client.
Click
Go To Downloads
under
Omnissa Horizon Client for Mac.
Click
Download Now
.
Run the executable downloaded
Once run, you will be prompted to install the application.
Double-click on
Omnissa
Horizon Client.pkg.
Follow the instructions to install Omnissa Horizon.
Open the Omnissa Horizon client
You will be prompted to add a server. Add
https://remote.txstate.edu
Select
Connect.
Your browser will open to this
Please note, you will be prompted to allow keystrokes on your Mac device. Please allow access to VMWare under
Privacy & Security > Input Monitoring.
A browser screen will open, and you will be prompted to log in with your
NetID and password
.
Once you have logged in with your NetID and Duo authentication, you will be asked to open the Omnissa Horizon Client, press
Allow.
You may be prompted to allow accessibility settings on your Mac device. Please allow access to Omnissa under
Privacy & Security > Accessibility
.
You will be prompted to accept an elevated permission prompt. If you agree to the license terms and privacy agreement, select
Agree & Install
.
Click on the
application you wish to launch
.
