Managing Access with Single Sign-On (SSO) Entra ID Security Groups

Body

Texas State uses Entra ID security groups to manage who can access applications through Single Sign-On (SSO). If your product/service should only be available to specific people (such as students, staff, or a department), access will be managed through one or more security groups.

TXST security groups typically follow a standard naming format:

APP-Department-ApplicationName-UserType

Example: APP-ITAC-Zoom-Students

Go to the Online Toolkit and click Role Management to add or remove people from security groups.
