Group Mailing Lists enable users to send an email to a group of individuals via a single email address without having to add the individual email addresses for all participants. Group members are able to easily read and respond to messages within a single email chain, as well as subscribe and unsubscribe from the list as needed. List managers have the ability to add and remove members and moderate messages before they are delivered to the group.

Group mailing lists are ONLY available to Texas State faculty and staff who need to moderate messages between list participants. The mailing list owner or authorized administrator is responsible for releasing all communications, including messages sent by a list owner or administrator, before participants receive the communication.
Group mailing lists support external users (non-Texas State email accounts) and can be set up to allow list participants to subscribe/unsubscribe from the list.
If you do NOT need to moderate messages, communicate with non-Texas State participants, or support list subscription please check out the other available email list services.
