How to Migrate Survey SSO Authentication to Entra ID
Body
- Open the survey and go to the Survey flow tab along the left side of the window.

- Change the Connection in the authentication block from "txstate" to "txstateEntra"
If they are the Capture respondent identifying info then make sure they are not using a legacy SSO field name
If you see "sAMAccountName" this will need to be changed to "username.
All the other SSO fields should be the same in Shibboleth and Entra. (The names for the embedded data on the left side do not need to match the examples provided below. Example: "First Name" could be "First," "firstname," "first name," etc.) "Username" (NetID) = username

- "Email" = mail OR email
- "Last name" = sn OR LastName
- "First name" = givenName OR FirstName
- Select Apply in the bottom right corner of the window.
- Select the Builder (clip board icon) tab near the top left corner of the window and click Publish near the top right corner of the window.
- Test the survey to make sure that you see the Microsoft SSO instead of the Shibboleth SSO. (You might need to clear cache or try an incognito window to see the SSO page.)
